#240·Robots Waiting for Kusama: Milestone 1

This is the first milestone of "Robots Waiting for Kusama" proposal.

The purpose of the proposal is to demonstrate current capabilities of Kusama network for robotics technicians working or studying at universities by presentation of already available web3 tools. A large-scale demonstration with colleagues from partner universities will be conducted for this, in which various robots will function, being integrated in a test environment using the Robonomics parachain. The proposal is divided into 5 milestones with 10 robotic devices each + the last milestone for final montage and summing up.

The first milestone includes:

• Negotiations with universities about robotic devices for demonstration (10 devices for this milestone).
• Coordination and technical support of participating university members.
• Preparation devices and the formation of deliverables.

For each robot the following will be done:

• analysis of the ROS-module of the device, correcting the module if necessary, testing the module;
• robot activation;
• collection and sending of telemetry data;
• preparation of results: creating video, documenting a repository, posting a report.

For the first milestone, we are asking for 850 KSM, which will be used to prepare robotic devices (80 KSM per 1 device) + 50 KSM for operational costs. The milestone will take approximately 12 weeks to complete.
