This motion proposes 16iPbcL3NrdYWNVZ8uYmonmBuVmuSbbQLL5ECBvDxcSNyLPT as curator of the band bounty funded this week. 



The candidacy, a multisig composed by Bette Chen (co-founder of Acala and lead of Product design), Katie Butler (Marketing director of Moonbeam) Iggy Albero (the designer behind the current Polkadot and Kusama’s brand) and Kaye Han (head of marqomms division), was proposed by Katie this week based on the parties’ expertise and experience with the brand.



While no reward is expected for the effort, the motion is opened with a 1 dot fee for the curator to showcase the bounty mechanism, being this the first bounty on Polkadot. For Polkadot's first-ever bounty, proposed by Koto Studio, we are excited to present our candidacy as the bounty curator. As outlined in the proposal, the final deliverables must take into consideration the wide-ranging perspectives of the Polkadot community. Thus, we believe this proposal is best served by a multi-sig curator composed of individuals with professional brand development expertise and deep roots in the Polkadot ecosystem. Here is a brief on the individuals that are part of this proposed multi-sig:

Bette Chen, co-founder of Acala and Laminar, leads product design and development on token economic models. Bette has decades of experience in product management and has led her teams to much success in the Polkadot ecosystem and blockchain industry at large.

Katie Butler is the Director of Marketing at PureStake & Moonbeam. She is responsible for leading her team on marketing and communications for the smart contract parachain. Prior to Moonbeam, Katie gained extensive experience in a wide range of technology companies.

Iggy Albero, from Web3 Foundation, is the designer who created Polkadot's beloved logo and many other brand assets. Iggy also designed the Kusama brand and has worked on many design projects with a focus on visualising blockchain concepts, technology, and data.

Kaye Han, from Parity Technologies, heads the marcomms division whose design, marketing, and web teams deeply interact with the Polkadot brand on a daily basis. Beyond the blockchain space, Kaye has worked with global brands such as IDEO, Nike, Starbucks, and more.

While no reward is expected for our efforts on this historic bounty proposal, to showcase the power of social coordination on a blockchain network, we propose a symbolic 1 DOT as the curator fee. We believe this bounty is a huge milestone for Polkadot and hope that our expertise, experience and enthusiasm presents us as a great candidate.
