Dear community,
In this proposal I seek to modify the chain's staking configurations such that the minimum commission is changed from 0% to 3%. All other parameters that are associated with the configuration remains the same as prior.
For transparency the previous values are:
- Minimum Nominator Bond : 0.1 KSM
- Minimum Validator Bond: 0 KSM
- Max Nominator Count : 20,000
- Max Validator Count : 4,000
- Chill Threshold: null
- Minimum Commission: 0
The value of 3% was determined after several days of discussion and reflects a conservative position which is further held by low rates of exchange. We trust that the foregoing would benefit the chain by improving the sustainable operations of validators who have qualified into the active set.
