Dear Council,
I would like to propose a tip for the audiobook production of the treasury-funded book, "Polkadot for Beginners: a non-technical guide to Decentralization, Blockchain, and Polkadot" by Gbaci, recorded by the host of the Web3 Nerd podcast.
Born out of the host’s mission to drive web3 adoption through education, this first-of-its-kind approach makes it more convenient for people wanting to learn about Polkadot but are tangled up with a rather busy schedule. Even during rush hour, one can get introduced to Polkadot without having to keep putting it off due to lack of time.
The audiobook followed a weekly release pattern to ensure palatability, chunked into seven sequential episodes, with each covering specific segments. Later, it was lumped together into a single three-hour-long complete audiobook.
To ensure it reaches the targeted audience, the complete audiobook was posted on Polkadot's official discord server, the following subreddits: r/Polkadot, r/dot, r/audible, and on twitter. The podcast is also available on more than 10 platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
Fortunately, the community welcomed the idea, as portrayed by the following comments: here, here and here
Such positive impacts only entice the Web3 Nerd Podcast to create more content in this vein.
