Skalman is working as a researcher at the Web3 Foundation. He wrote a document outlining his involvement with Polkadot and contributions he has done over the years: https://hackmd.io/@andresilva/SJaGOTDza

Given his contributions I'm supporting him to join the fellowship and be directly promoted to rank I.

Including application below:

Hi all 👋I’m Bradley Olson.

I’ve been involved with Polkadot for about nine months now, beginning as a student at the first Polkadot Blockchain Academy. After graduating from the academy I secured a role on the Parachains Core team at Parity seven months ago.

So far, I’ve been very excited to contribute to Polkadot by helping push parachains protocol disputes towards a feature complete state. Moving forward I’ll be helping with asynchronous backing.

My biggest contributions:

https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot/pull/6512
https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot/pull/6303
https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot/pull/6838
https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot/pull/6395
https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot/pull/6901
https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot/pull/6757

Educational content:

  • On the instructional staff of the second Polkadot Blockchain Academy as a TA
  • Presented one lecture to students covering OpenGov
  • Built and ran one demonstration and two in class exercises
  • In addition, here is how I am contributing to the wider ecosystem:
  • Avid reader and poster on the Polkadot Forum
  • Engaged in tech discussions with folks inside and outside the Polkadot ecosystem
Working on a blog to cover my additions to the Polkadot Parachains Protocol

I want to apply for rank 1.
