totally agree with this proposal. but i think 333333 KSM (~1M $ at the current value) is too small. Could the team add more? Imo 100k KSM (3M $) is good for trading on Hydration

Yeap I think it should be higher 100k KSM better probably, this is not enough for sure hopefully upgrade the number and upgrade more :) pls probably 30 to 50 people use and then done like this. Let's upgrade this !

I strongly support this proposal.
This will help the ecosystem not only to move assets between Polkadot and Kusama but hopefully open the door for more activity on Kusama.

Such a gateway placed in a known and well-working DeFi is a no-brainer.

This solution also reduces dependency on centralized exchanges, aligning with Kusama  rebellious ethos.

What about Basilisk ? My suggestion - unite it with Hydration! It cant flourish separate!
Hydration will connect other networks at some point, Kusama can be the first!

Here are some ideas
1.Most radical option - unite Basilsk and Hydration into one project with one tokenomics similar to Bifrost, Phala, Robonomics.
2.Second option - two brands and tokens, but full integration of pairs and same pools.
3.And most conservative - Copy functionality from Hydration to Basilisk as a start of preparation for full integration.
4.Some kind of Switch bottom on Hydration to turn Basilisk, so it can be and look like one ecosystem. Or just add Kusama and its parachans to Hydration transfers to work smooth and soft.

Basilisk is cheap, it makes no sense to keep it separate from Hydration and do tons of parallel work you do for Hydration. Two brands are too expensive.
Good pairs from Kusama can add liquidity to Hydration.

Basilisk needs to be part of this deal, it's fair and can bring interest back to the whole KSM ecosystem!

Very much needed! having this on the Polkadot side is great, on the Kusama side we could do similar on AH if W3F deploys the promised to DOT to the treasury.

# Summary
The goal of this proposal is to contribute towards building an accessible, deep layer of native liquidity on Polkadot and connecting that with Kusama - encouraging value flows between the sister chains without the need for a centralised intermediary.

If approved, this proposal will provide 33,333 KSM from the Kusama Treasury into the Hydration Omnipool - after KSM is launched for swaps on Hydration, the liquidity position will remain under the control of the Kusama Protocol and OpenGov.

The requested KSM would be added to the Omnipool as single-sided liquidity, in the same way that [1,000,000 DOT were added through ref #560](https://polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/560) - this would be the most liquid trading venue for KSM on Polkadot and finally provide a simple and trustless way to move value between Polkadot and Kusama. No more hops on CEX required to make the move!
