From the perspective of users, we need something like this for our products. At present, the blank of Boka Ecology needs to be filled in. A great attempt, the team is also very hardcore, hoping to make a good product

We are planning to develop a BI and AI data service platform for the entire Polkadot and Kusama Web3 ecosystem. Currently, there are no competing products in this area within the ecosystem and It can solve the problems of information asymmetry and data fragmentation within the entire ecosystem. This project can enhance the core competitiveness of the Polkadot ecosystem by providing insights into the current state of various chains, predicting trends, and identifying issues at the data level. It should be beneficial for individuals and teams with investment needs as well as those involved in project operations.

We are pleased to see the new Kusama DV, who has been in the Web3 field for a long time, not only contributing to OpenGov but also bringing forward this excellent proposal. We appreciate this idea because it is user-focused and aims to integrate data from various parachains, thereby unifying the entire Kusama and Polkadot ecosystems. We can envision a future where new users entering the Kusama/Polkadot space would rely on this project to search for anything related to the ecosystem and access valuable information across the board. Currently, each parachain may have useful data, like APY for DeFi products, but with this project, users could easily compare APYs across the entire ecosystem and quickly find whale information without needing to check multiple parachains. Since DrCAO is also involved in this proposal, we will abstain and look forward to hearing the community's feedback.

It's a good question. There are three considerations:

  1. Influence: The scale of the Polkadot ecosystem is larger than that of the Kusama ecosystem, and the data services required will be greater. Our BI and AI data service platform will generate more value for the Polkadot ecosystem.
  2. Financing: The financing capacity of the Polkadot treasury is much greater than that of the Kusama treasury. We hope that the initial funding for the first phase will be supported by the Kusama treasury. Once the data service platform reaches a certain stage, we will seek financing from the DOT treasury. After all, this is a large project that cannot be completed with just a few thousand dollars. Those who have worked on BI projects should know its value, not to mention the AI services and other value-added services. Once this aggregated BI and AI data service platform is established, it will greatly empower the development of the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems.
  3. Return ratio: The scale of the Polkadot ecosystem is currently ten times that of the Kusama ecosystem. A 5% return to the Kusama ecosystem and a 10% return to the Polkadot ecosystem means that the relative return to the Kusama ecosystem is higher, as the first phase is supported by Kusama.

We currently use Elasticsearch and CrewAI to create a highly user-friendly Polkadot information search platform. The BI solution can comprehensively display various chains in the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems from different dimensions and perspectives. Elasticsearch excels in segmentation and recommendation, and this information will first enter Elasticsearch for traditional search processing. This allows users to obtain accurate and personalized information even without using AI. CrewAI will handle the agent process, understanding user intent and processing search results into the most concise answers while connecting to the online world to provide users with the latest information. We will open-source most of the code to facilitate the participation and development of Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem developers in the AI and BI fields.

Why don’t you consider how valuable this data platform would be if it were built? We could all benefit from it.

Thank you for all your suggestions, including the application and the maximum reuse of technical code. We will discuss and consider them. At present, we have only identified the issues of data fragmentation and data experience in the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems and proposed a hopeful solution. I joined Kusama DV by chance and, after a deep understanding, I wanted to do something for the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems. Additionally, nothing is perfect at the beginning of a product; it can only be improved through continuous effort and refinement. Most of our team members are part-time, so my priority is to secure initial funding to get everyone started. One thing is certain: the basic data BI services and AI services are public services that benefit all users. However, we do not yet know the specific plans for subsequent development, including what value-added services to offer and what kind of economic model to implement. We will only know the most important needs and greatest value for users when we reach that stage. My consideration for the product is fundamentally based on user value; without user value, the demand will not be considered. Currently, the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems lack user value and user experience. Please think about it, if the price of BTC does not change, how much will these tens of thousands of dollars appreciate in three months? Many people vote to hold onto it (most votes are against it) rather than adopting a VC investment mindset.
