I am writing to propose a unique and meaningful project that not only supports an emerging artist but also honors one of our key figures, Gavin Wood. This initiative aligns with our commitment to fostering creativity and innovation within our community. Project Overview Commissioning a Portrait of Gavin Wood.

We have identified a talented artist who recently exhibited in Barcelona , renowned for creating exceptional portraits of notable figures. The artist also worked for Football Club Barcelona. After an initial discussion with him, he expressed his admiration for Gavin Wood. This enthusiasm for Gavin and his work makes the artist an ideal candidate for this project. The Proposal:

1. Commission a Real Painting: o We will commission the artist to create an original painting of Gavin Wood. Canvas will be 130x195cm. This piece will capture Gavin's essence and serve as a lasting tribute to his contributions to our community and the broader technological landscape.
2. Creating an NFT: o In addition to the physical painting, we propose creating a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) of the artwork. This NFT will be distributed to all Kappa Sigma Mu members, symbolizing our collective appreciation and serving as a digital memento. We will make an snapshot and distribute the NFTs when the work is finished.
3. Presentation to Gavin Wood: o The completed painting will be presented to Gavin Wood as a token of our appreciation. It Will be sent and packed well
4. Marketing: o We have contacted Gavin Wood’s office, and he is willing to accept this gift and will share it on X (formerly Twitter). o We also coordinated with the artist to share the work on his Instagram profile (45K followers)

Community Engagement: In Kusama, there is a society that rewards individuals for getting a Kusama-themed tattoo. Our goal is to support and expand this society, positioning it as the primary gateway for highly engaged and committed individuals within the Kusama ecosystem. By employing non-traditional and innovative approaches, we aim to foster a vibrant and dedicated community that not only attracts new users but also strengthens their connection to Kusama. By commissioning a painting of Gavin Wood and creating an NFT, we blend traditional art with modern technology, showcasing the positive impact of blockchain. This initiative supports a quite famous artist and unites our members, encouraging more participation and cultivating a sense of community. Next Steps

1. Approval of the Proposal

Upon approval, we will formalize the commission agreement with the artist, outlining the project scope, timeline, and deliverables.

2. Project Execution:

The artist will begin work on the painting, with regular updates provided to ensure alignment with our vision. o Concurrently, we will work on the creation and distribution plan for the NFT.

3. Presentation and Distribution:

Once completed, we will deliever the package to Gavin.

The NFT will be distributed to all members.
