Shouldn't these bounties be created after the W3F has decided the procedure for disbursing the funds? As of now, we don't even know that these funds will be disbursed to the Kusama treasury at all.

Aye.
Yet the only concern from my opinion is the budget looks too small to achieve a truly useful privacy tool, and the estimation of workload for each milestone just underestimated.

I will say give at least 2~3 times more to make it reasonable.

Since we introduced this on the AAG, I have been talking to successful ZKsnarks teams with a launched/viable product, to make it a common good system like this, will take much more than 50k usd. for something like this to be implemented in an open source fashion with Governance in place will take 50 to 100x what you are offering. Yes we want missionaries doing this but I find it very unlikely to achieve. I will also like to point out that core developers/fellowship will need to be active and available for this to run and be implemented the fastest way possible to take into account forward compatibility with 2.0, plaza, Jam etc.

Having said this i do support this initiative, if the goal can be achieve for that amount is a mega+ for the ecosystem.

Dear Proposer,

Thank you for your proposal. Our second vote on this proposal is AYE.

The Treasurer track requires 60% quorum according to our voting policy. This proposal has received eight aye and zero nay votes from ten members, with one member abstaining. Below is a summary of our members' comments:

The majority of voters expressed support for the project, viewing it as a necessary and positive initiative. While some voiced concerns about the funding amount being potentially insufficient for long-term maintenance and suggested the possibility of involving multiple teams, the overall sentiment remained optimistic. Many acknowledged the project's low cost and its role in revitalizing Kusama, appreciating the introduction of a Request for Proposals (RFP) culture as a step forward.

The full discussion can be found in our internal voting.

Kind regards,
