In a world that treats people as data points and culture as content, Arcadia ‘s Web offers a visionary alternative — experiences designed not just to showcase technology, but forge a deep emotional connection .
Arcadia repurpose negative technologies into unifying art and iconic events, with their Spider installation telling an ancient indigenous story of a decentralised web connecting people and cultures. That story is told live, weaving a web across a dancefloor of thousands, immersing it in the unified community and human possibility at the heart of Web3 - the profound synergy underpinning the partnership.
This is Kusama and Polkadot’s cultural layer — not a sponsorship, not a campaign, but a living, breathing act of radical culture that brings Web3 to life in the streets, in the sound, in the fire. It is a decentralised experience where the infrastructure is the medium and connection is the story.

Thanks Bill! Silly me not realising my address would not be verified as it is a derivative of my Polkadot address which is very active. All fixed and thanks for removing your nay :)
Any questions that anyone has about this complex proposal, please shout and I will be more than happy to answer. Copy and pasting some of the answers to questions I have been asked elsewhere as I think it will be helpful.
Arcadia have been doing what they are doing for nearly 25 years, so they are well established around the world, having toured a number of times and played at all major festivals - they have a permanent main stage at Glastonbury, Coachella, Burning Man, Ultra and many other festivals. They also work with indigenous populations in hard to reach places (places that will benefit from blockchain for the simpler purposes in life). They have strong partnerships with venues, DJs (Beatport - not to be confused with Beatport.io which is the part of Beatport built on Polkadot and is part of the main company) - is the largest EDM platform in the world and they are exploring this space more and more.
The team have been working on this concept for some time and all the cogs are already in motion. They have waited for me to get them to a place where we are totally aligned and have not gone elsewhere during this period. Their outlook and ambitions individually and as a company are more aligned with Polkadot than any company I have known.
The Arcadia team (Pip, Bertie, Jo) came to Miami and met some of the Mythical and Parity teams back in March, then they flew to Lugano and met everyone there. I wanted to make sure that this partnership is exactly right before I brought it to you all.
The inclusion of the Tech Fellowship was at the request of a high rank and we have advisors to support the tech inclusion along the discovery path all the way to the event.
The IRL and in app experience will merge and what is an initial event for 50K people, will become a growing community over more events, more online interactions (games, merch, exclusive tracks, playgrounds, creator spaces) - until the next IRL moment.
From ticketing (with secondary marketplace), to merch, to concessions, competitions and all the usual interactions, there is the introduction of proof of personhood. With this woven into experience, we demonstrate this to the fans and use it to allow people to start to control the narrative of the show as they see it.
