PolkaWorld votes NAY
While this proposal offers production-grade developer tools for Kusama Hub and lays important groundwork for a sustainable ecosystem, based on the information we’ve received, projects can apply for integration with Thirdweb for free directly through their website — no payment required.
This point warrants further clarification.

Dear Proposer,
Thank you for your proposal. Our first vote on this proposal is NAY.
The Big Spender track requires 60% quorum according to our voting policy v0.2, and any referendum in which the majority of members vote abstain receives an abstain vote. This proposal has received zero aye and five nay votes from ten available members. Below is a summary of our members' comments:
The voters expressed skepticism about the proposed infrastructure's benefits for Polkadot ecosystem developers, questioning the effectiveness of a $50,000 investment and suggesting that the small funding request made the proposal seem unachievable. They highlighted the need for a more substantial support model and noted that introducing a free tier for developers before considering a paid option might be a more effective approach. Overall, the consensus leaned towards disapproval, with concerns about the proposal's viability and relevance.

Hello, my name is Juan, I am the consumer lead at thirdweb.
We have enabled opensource tools on Kusama to showcase the ability for us to work with Kusama.
https://thirdweb.com/kusama-asset-hub
In addition, we do have a free tier that allows developers to sign up and start using thirdweb. You can learn more about our developer pricing here: https://thirdweb.com/pricing
More than happy to work with the DAO to find and highlight devs using thirdweb to ensure their success.
Happy to answer any questions!
🚨 We’re pleased to announce that the Kusama Asset Hub is now live on
https://thirdweb.com/
— listed under Thirdweb’s free integration package.
👉 Check it out: https://thirdweb.com/kusama-asset-hub
But we’re not stopping there.
We’re currently working to secure Thirdweb’s full developer support for Kusama, which would unlock:
🔓 Account abstraction – smart wallets, gasless UX
💳 Credit card payments – yes, real-world onramps
🛠️ InSite – no-code smart contract deployment for launching on Kusama in minutes
Once enabled, this gives Kusama the full EVM dev toolkit — unlocking fast, accessible, and production-ready dApp deployment.
🗳️ Support the referendum:

🌀 Expect chaos. Kusama-style.

I think this is a nobrainer, they have more 128 smart contract standards ready to be deployed and if they can make it easy to on PVM this can be huge for the ecosystem. I'm sure going to share this with all devs in web3dev
Hello my name is Emilio, Head of Growth at Labrys.io
We're DeStore development partner and we built the first version of DeStore wallet. For that scope of work, we used Magic as per Client requirements but Magic falls short in terms of blockchain support and other capabilities that DeStore has in its roadmap.
At Labrys, we've been using the Thirdweb web3 development stack for the last two years, and given the volume of business our Clients bring to Thirdweb, we're not part of their "Trusted Partner" program (https://thirdweb.com/trusted-partner-program/labrys).
While we do not have any stake in Kusama, or any chain for that matter, we support this proposal as we believe will make enhance the development on chains such as Kusama (or any other substrate-based network).
I'm happy if you guys integrate Kusama to your product at $50k cost but with 48months instead of 24 months
I WILL VOTE NAY NOW UNTIL YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND!
THANK YOU
