Holding an edition of Polkadot Decoded in Buenos Aires this year puts Latin America definitely on the roadmap of our ecosystem.

But it also leaves a gap in our continent, which basically splits into two languages:

Portuguese, spoken only in Brazil
And Spanish, predominant in other countries

Because of this and also other factors (which are well detailed in the link below), we strongly believe that it is necessary to hold an event at this moment that helps to reverberate Polkadot Decoded in Brazil as well.

Analyzing this case over the last two weeks, we came to the conclusion that this event would not fit the standard of a Viewing Party.

Although we have great interest in cryptocurrencies in the country, we realized that the content presented in Polkadot Decoded is too advanced for our local audience and that it would be better to think about it in another way, taking advantage of this moment in which Polkadot Decoded is being carried out and reverberated by the All the world.

The solution would be to think of an event that better connects our small community with decision makers in the traditional financial market (since the country is very open to legislation favorable to cryptos, with large financial institutions announcing the start of their operations in the sector), journalists and opinion makers. All these audiences are currently interested in the subject but are totally unaware of the DOTSAMA ecosystem and above all its possibilities and fundamentals.

The result of this analysis is a project that does not fit well in a Viewing Party. But that we believe is the ideal for this moment. In these two weeks we talked to a lot of people and ended up assembling a highly qualified team for this mission. And we're very motivated to do something that fills that gap above with a for-all event that combines:

Informational and Educational Content.
Debate
Participation of Our Local Ambassadors.
Relationship building with the agents mentioned above (market decision makers, journalists and opinion makers).
Reverberation in networks.
Documentation (through the registration and subsequent publication of these lectures and debate).

We also want with this event:

Communicate what Polkadot Decoded is.
Talk about what people will be able to access about this 2022 edition.
Make a Happy Hour that is in tune with the festive spirit of our culture.
Position DOTSAMA as a protagonist in the development of WEB3, providing a technological environment focused on innovation.

The way we want to do this will really be outside the parameters of a traditional corporate event and we hope that everyone here will be able to read our Proposal, appreciate our ideas and contribute their suggestions. Despite the different format, our total cost of realization is compatible with other events presented.

We do not want and should not leave Brazil with this gap.
