This proposal seeks funding for a marketing initiative centered around a papercraft model of the Kusama logo, the black canary.
Objectives:
The objectives of this marketing initiative are to:
Description:
The marketing initiative will involve the creation of 100 papercraft models of the Kusama logo. The models will be accompanied by a package that includes educational files and step-by-step instructions on how to set up a Kusama address and claim an NFT that we will mint on rmrk (a rotation 3d model of the papercraft KSM logo).
The papercraft model will be crafted with great care and attention to detail. The packaging will be aesthetically pleasing and will include all the necessary information for users to engage with the Kusama network. The educational files will cover basic topics such as what Kusama is, how it works, and how to get involved.
The NFT that we will mint will be a unique simple 3D design inspired by the Kusama logo. Users who claim the NFT will be able to hold it as a prove of their participation in the Kusama network.
Budget:
The total budget for this initiative is still to be calculated but will include:
Conclusion:
This marketing initiative will provide an innovative and creative way to promote the Kusama network and its community. The papercraft model of the black canary logo and the accompanying NFT minting and claiming process will be an engaging and educational experience for new users. With careful attention to detail and design, this initiative will be a unique and valuable addition to Kusama's brand and community.
Addendum:
It's important to note that the 3D model and papercraft design of the Kusama logo is almost finished. We are committed to producing a high-quality product that will be visually striking and engaging for users.
This proposal is easily scalable. To lower the budget we will acquire non-industrial equipment such as a Cricut Maker/Silohuette Cameo and fine materials to produce the papercraft models and packaging. That’s not only to lower the budget but also to find the right materials and to do the amount of tests required for this to be an impecable product. The packages will be delivered to Parity offices so that they can offer them at conferences and other events.
Once we find the right materials and perfected the production process, it will be easy to scale up the project. If the marketing initiative is successful, we may consider expanding the product line to include other Kusama-related items and collaborate with parachains. However, for now, we want to focus on expand the Kusama community.
After the initial production run, we will be able to calculate the fixed and variable costs of unit production and set a fair price for future units. We are sure that this initiative will contribute to the network's growth and development.
