Polkassembly is an integral part of polkadot and kusama governance. This submission proposes a recurring payment (quarterly) to cover maintenance, operations and human resource costs for Polkassembly, including general maintenance, runtime upgrades changes and could/infrastructure cost. This submission covers costs for April, May, June of 2023. The maintenance proposal alternates between Polkadot & Kusama treasury and we are requesting the Kusama treasury to provide funds this time.
This recurring proposal aims to secure the continuous operation and sustainability of Polkassembly, a vital component of Polkadot and Kusama governance.
To ensure the smooth functioning of Polkassembly, we request a recurring quarterly payment to cover essential expenses such as maintenance, operations, and human resources. The funds are allocated towards general maintenance, runtime upgrades, and infrastructure costs, guaranteeing the reliability and efficiency of Polkassembly.
Specifically, this submission addresses the funding requirements for the months of April, May, and June in 2023. As part of the alternating maintenance proposal between the Polkadot and Kusama treasuries, we kindly request the Kusama treasury to provide the necessary funding for this period.

- Customization: Implementing a customizable and dynamic notification engine across multiple platforms (mail, telegram, slack, discord) to enable users to receive personalized notifications.
- Preview Images: Creating identifiable proposal preview images at the chain level, making it easier for users to interact with hyperlinks.
- Anti-Spam Features: Allowing users to flag spam proposals and comments, with warnings displayed on the UI and moderation team action taken within 24-48 hours.
- Partnerships: Integrating the option to build custom quizzes for proposers, collaborating with Proof of Chaos team to reward correct answers with NFTs. Partnering with Grill chat and Subsocial Team to facilitate anonymous on-chain communication.
- Content & Education: Establishing a dedicated webpage for blogs, tweets, and digests from Polkassembly to keep users updated on initiatives.
- Audit: Creating an audit section for proposals, enabling auditors to reach a wider audience by adding their audit links to proposals.
- Site-wide Improvements: Enhancing discussion post linking for better community engagement. Providing edit history for proposals and comments, allowing users to report problematic comments. Adding on-chain events to the calendar, leveraging Polkascan's APIs and allowing filtering by chain level. Enabling image upload in posts and comments for user convenience. Implementing comment sentiment upgrades to view overall sentiment and filter comments accordingly.
