I strongly support this proposal.
This will help the ecosystem not only to move assets between Polkadot and Kusama but hopefully open the door for more activity on Kusama.
Such a gateway placed in a known and well-working DeFi is a no-brainer.
This solution also reduces dependency on centralized exchanges, aligning with Kusama rebellious ethos.

What about Basilisk ? My suggestion - unite it with Hydration! It cant flourish separate!
Hydration will connect other networks at some point, Kusama can be the first!
Lets make Hydration really MULTICHAIN!
Basilisk needs to be part of this deal, it's fair and can bring interest back to the whole KSM ecosystem!

This is definitely a benefit for KSM users. The problem is why we only did this today, for whatever reason, we were too slow to act.
Very much needed! having this on the Polkadot side is great, on the Kusama side we could do similar on AH if W3F deploys the promised to DOT to the treasury.
totally agree with this proposal. but i think 333333 KSM (~1M $ at the current value) is too small. Could the team add more? Imo 100k KSM (3M $) is good for trading on Hydration
