The Kusama Society is made up of 150 people from all over the world. To join it, it is necessary to make "an ink test", which consists of a tattoo that connects its members like a human blockchain. This test is an economic game that uses several systemic tools from the Polkadot ecosystem, distributing incentives to its participants.
In this episode of the series Uncharted Territories(1), filmmaker Miguel Marques(2) documents the thoughts, uses and concepts that guide this project in the testimonies of different participants in the ecosystem. In the future, other societies will be created within Kusama and this experiment is just the beginning of it all.
(1) Uncharted Territories clarifies the complexity surrounding fourth-generation blockchain networks, their concepts and technologies. The programs in the series (which is also available on Youtube) create a necessary dialogue between developers and lay users, raising issues ranging from technology to politics, through ethics and philosophy.
(2) Miguel Marques is an independent Portuguese documentary filmmaker. His production includes observational films about public and political institutions. In 2013, Marques produced and directed Pots Pans and Other Solutions about the economic crisis in Iceland and how its citizens organized their demands to create a more participatory democracy.
My name is _ecardo5o and I have organized, together with other ambassadors and candidates (here in LATAM), a good content team and we are on a mission to create programs and subtitle other existing films (like that). There is a huge lack of information in Portuguese and Spanish about the entire ecosystem (mainly in audiovisual media materials). Treasury's support is most welcome to better understand all the needs and create a work direction that engages all participants.
