SubSquare is a governance platform designed for substrate based blockchains. This development includes as well API integration with Polkassembly to make use of contextual information.
Subsquare integrated 9 parachains already and the next stop for the team is Polkadot Network, child bounties, post features enhancement (banner customization, polls, link post to proposal, tags) and data decentralization. Recognizing the effort for the integration, I will be opening a tip for the team for the work, and we can ideally cover new features and maintenance using the standard treasury proposal process.
You can visit the website here: https://kusama.subsquare.io/
This tip includes the following items, which I have been following with the team:
- basic stuff design, code setting, server setup, etc: USD 10,000.
- Customization for kusama,. The work includes: Old democracy/treasury on-chain proposals adapt. The logics to handle them is somewhat different from the latest pallet logics. They even have to calculate the tally for old democracy referendums - USD15,000
- Contextual info sync from Polkassembly.
- Frontend issues adaption or tweaks, including the customization for very large calls, prime voter view, etc.
- Maintenance fee.
I want to request councillors to support this effort: we need more governance forums on the space, with different layouts, features and tools that allow the community to find easy information on current and future voting and for proposers to add the reasoning behind their ideas for discussion.
Thank you to the OpenSquare team for the hard work!
