As we all witness the rapid growth of WEB3 technologies, it's crucial that we make sure the adoption of these technologies is inclusive and reaches every corner of the world.
That's why we're excited to introduce 1TRIBE, a digital multimedia education initiative that empowers Africans to participate in the decentralized WEB3 economy, with a focus on the Polkadot and KUSAMA ecosystem.
We're requesting funding for a 3-month period split into monthly milestone-based installments
$40,000 is the first out of a total of $153,279, split into 3 installments to build our platform and create MVPs. Our ultimate goal is to provide valuable educational resources for Africans to participate in the decentralized WEB3 economy. Once OpenGov is launched on Polkadot we will be moving there to further develop our platform.
After engaging with the community for feedback through platforms like AAG and The Kusamarian, we're thrilled to have received a lot of community support. However, some Polkadot council members abstained from voting, but we're not letting that slow us down.
As a pro-African WEB3 multimedia platform, we know that using all available mediums to disseminate our message of WEB3 education and empowerment to African youth is crucial. That's why we've made it our mission to incorporate an online radio format into our platform. Our hybrid platform allows us to convert our series of themed video content into online-radio format, ensuring that our message reaches a wider audience and that none of our content goes to waste.
Our goals for 1TRIBE are simple:
Foster a diverse community of Africans, Africans in the diaspora, and people of African descent from around the world who are interested in Web3 and the Polkadot ecosystem.
Drive interest in Web3 and Polkadot by seamlessly incorporating African lifestyle, music, art, and innovation.
Educate Africa's budding entertainers, artists, musicians, and students about the potential of Web3 and Polkadot.
Provide a platform for discussions and education about Web3 and Polkadot.
Encourage the development and growth of the Web3 ecosystem in Africa.
By achieving these goals, we firmly believe that 1TRIBE will play a vital role in bridging Africa to the future with Polkadot.
