Artist Jessica Angel and the Vancouver Biennale of Public Art are joining efforts for the development of an immersive, high impact art installation in the public space. Using custom designed adhesive vinyl and AR technologies over a 180 mt. long bridge underpass we will create Voxel Bridge; a physical space in the city of Vancouver where digital and physical realms come together to present a journey through the most prominent events in Kusama Network.
Voxel Bridge will provide an experiential perspective of the Kusama Network, rather than a technical one. Introducing people to the network through their senses and captivating new users through an aesthetic approach.
This multidisciplinary piece will be located under the south side of the Cambie St. bridge as part of the Vancouver Biennale from spring 2021 to spring 2023
Prominent Kusama event have been identified by the artist yet the project is open to the community's voices to be included. Feedback is welcome!
