- Before, 1 DOT = 1,000,000,000,000 Plancks. After, 1 DOT = 10,000,000,000 Plancks.
- The total DOTs will increase from 10 million to 1 billion, but everyone’s share stays the same.
- The decimal point moves two places, making calculations easier.
- This is not about inflation or deflation; it’s just renaming the units.
- Everyone’s DOT balance will increase by 100 times, but their share of the network stays the same.
- The change only affects what we call a "DOT," not the actual value or ownership.
