I am proposing a tip to Kauly for an article on setting up a substrate based node on Raspberry Pi 3b or any that use the aarch64 processor.

The Raspberry Pi is a relatively inexpensive computing device that comsumes very little power, it is a suitable device to operate a peer node that occupies a low-power foot print.

We've been asked by community to do this for a long time, now that we've got some time free - here you go.

This crate could be used to programmatically find entries in chain data - calls, storage, pretty much anything that is described by metadata. Example usage minimal working code can be seen in [QRUCIAL project](https://github.com/Qrucial/QRUCIAL-DAO/blob/main/exosysd/src/main.rs) where an event is fetched from a chain

And of course with the use of `.card()` call this crate could be used as a replacement for Parity Signer's built-in parser with certain modifications (list of displayed cards would have to be changed). We intend to use this crate in future projects like [Kampela](https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/post/1227).

Extensions are parsed automatically as well. Support of pre-V14 metadata was dropped deliberately (at least for the time being).

SubSquare has created a new tool called Substrate Parser which helps to find entries in chain data. It is a standalone and typed re-write of Parity Signer's parser crate. This tool can be used to fetch events from a chain. It can also be used as a replacement for Parity Signer's built-in parser with certain modifications. SubSquare intends to use this tool in future projects like Kampela. Extensions are parsed automatically as well. Support of pre-V14 metadata was dropped deliberately.

Dear community,

I am proposing a tip for Alice und Bob (AuB) to reward him for providing the community with factual information regarding the Acala [aUSD/iBTC](https://twitter.com/AcalaNetwork/status/1558785360670298112) incident.  This incident impacted the perspective of the ecosystem; it was reassuring to see community members with a better understanding quell misinformation using a knowledge first approach.

AuB held a Twitter space in which he answered community based questions and he also posted a fairly concise [twitter thread](https://twitter.com/alice_und_bob/status/1558959878475075584) with salient points.

Alice und Bob was not asked to do this nor did he expect any reward, this is imo an organic use of the tipping system.

I would like to propose a tip for the collection and compilation of the slides presented at Polkadot Decoded 2022 in one public directory. Link [here](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1D0YWX_3AAJBidGxdm03GL5mOgBPrgD_m)

The effort to collect the slides was born in response to some demands from the community of some of the slides presented as proven [here](https://discord.com/channels/722223075629727774/959130596725125160/1001837190046814248)

More than 80% of the presenters were contacted for their slides in which many gladly shared it with encouraging words while the rest are either yet to share theirs or efforts to reach out to them prove futile. As more comes in, the directory will be updated until hopefully all presenters shared their slides. When complete, it will be move to IPFS server, probably crust network.

With the ones collected, a directory was created to store the slides and link to the directory was published under the polkadot-decoded-2022 channel on discord. For those who do not know him, CP287 was one of the original Council members of Kusama during 2020. He actively participated in governance and treasury discussions and voted always taking into account his representatives and the overall benefit for the community. 

After some time off, this year I was super happy to hear to hear that CP287 was active again in the Kusama community and ready to start contributing to the development of proposals, reviews, discussions and overall policies on the governance side of things. Since he has a particular interest for DeFi and was not a council member any longer, I discussed with him the latest developments in the Kusama ecosystem regarding liquidity proposals, the [standard guidelines](https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/post/951) created and discussed by the community and the need of community members to advice teams that want to apply for funds using these guidelines.

CP287 quickly joined Rae's and my efforts in helping teams structure their proposals for discussion, submission and vote by council and the community.
